Camber- DEEP ELM RECORDS - PO BOX 1965 - NYC, NY 10156. Poor Deep Elm
guys, waited forever in a day to hear from me and now I'm going to trash
their CD. Well, what can I say? I hated it, in fact I'm so against this
music I'm disallowing it in further issues. This is the most typical
boring standard of alternative, and you know how much I love that.
They've been described as: melodic pop rock, a delicious tension to a
relaxed rolling groove twisting tightly into itself. - by Alternative
Press. They did send some really cool key-chains and date books, but
I'm afraid I'm just not into it.

COLIE BRICE - 1710 TANGLEWOOD COURT - HELMETTA, NJ 08828 - How many of
you out there have heard of Phantom's Opera or Gemini? Well if you
have, this is Colie's first solo project. I have to admit I did not
think I was going to like this one bit until I put it on and found out
how good it actually was. This sort of reminds me of the music Richie
Sambora did on
Stranger In This Town, but a lot more classier. You've got an
interesting blend of blues, a little bit of an African/world Indian
beat with the drums on some songs, a lot of rock and everything in
between. The songs take a realistic look at life and even though you
won't be fully changed after listening to this, you might get a little
motivation if you listen to the lyrics,
heaven knows all of us "X" people need that! It is my belief that
Colie will be rockin and a rollin when they build that bridge into the
21st century...

www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Towers/9552 Al-who? Al-co-holic, is how one song starts, in
another they're just too Damn Sober", and "Human Garbage Cans" (one of the funniest songs I think
that I've ever heard!) From those song titles, have you made any perception about what this bands
main purpose is? Well I have, it's a p-a-r-t-y with a capital P, their main purpose being to entertain
you without you needing to think about it or look for some purpose in the lyrics, whatever it's funny,
these guys love their alcohol and they love their rock n' roll. Play it loud and proud, these boys sound
like no other and have influences from members of the Godz, Salty Dog, and Dangerous Toys. The
band just opened up for the Alice Cooper & also bands like Jackyl it's in that vein, but there's a lot
going for this tape, you'll be born to love it. Unless, of course, you're a deadbeat and would rather
listen to people moaning about how depressed they are... :-) I ah, just checked that page & it's a
Jimi Hendrix tribute someone want to give me the right address? :-(
Typhoid Mary, 5196 Briarhurst CT, Columbus, OH 43220 (614) 457-6823 Another one of those bands that takes their music with a side order of humor are these guys. When they dubbed themselves on the bio "Central Ohio's #1 Unsigned All Original Hard Rock Band" I couldn't help but say "Yeah Right". But, guess what? They just as well could be! If you're looking for a band that makes you think, you can go check out somebody else, but if you're looking for a band that will make you laugh you've come to the right place. The best and key center is their musical content very raw, very strong, very good! The demo cassette - 10 songs is only $5 so you can't go wrong in checking it out! Especially with songs like "The Ballad of C.W. Muffinstuff", "The Power Of Voodoo", and the very funny,er. 'relative' "Akron Stolen Car Blues", Steve Graves (bass) Rev. Steve Hammond (guitar/vocals), JOhn Homan (drums), and Joel B.F. Stoker (guitar) are one hot item, that should not be ignored. Back To Top

COLOURDREAM - STEPPINGSTONE RECORDS - BOX 98 - 777 23 SMEDJEBACKEN -
SWEDEN I can almost see this band on tour with Black Sabbath or Soundgarden,
the killer bass, the psychedelic sounds of the guitar and vocals, the strength
behind the bands vocalist all reach out and say one thing - this band is destined to
make it and aren't your everyday average band on the scene to say the very least!!!
JOLLY POWER - C/O FEDERICO MARTINELLI - VIA G VERDI 3 - 2403 CLUSONE
(BG) - ITALY. Jolly Power are a fantastic glam/rock band who have an 8 song demo available
entitled "Like An Empty Bottle", (their new one is currently out and available, but since this is the one
I have, this is what I plug....) Every time I listen to them I am taken back to 88 on vacation in L.A.
where the strip was filled with long haired dudes in makeup, playing music the way it was meant to
be played, raw, rocking and fun. The band was formed in late 92.
- KILPATRICK KNAPP, SINBAD PRODUCTIONS, POST OFFICE BOX 58363,
LOUISVILLE, KY 40268-0368 mailto:BBhardrptSB@webtv.net THE BIOGRAPHY:
"LOCK DOWN" is the debut release of melodic rock/metal duo Kilpatrick/Knapp,
Guitar veteran Toby Knapp provides a melodic framework complete with catchy
riffs and inspired solos while Ken Kilpatrick lays down a sound harmonized vocal
track utilizing integral lyrics that have been missing in the age of "Alternative"
music.
In the 80's Kilpatrick Knapp worked together in several bands and had an
impressive touring schedule despite their young age. At the dawn of the 90's the
two pursued separate musical interests, occasionally reuniting for gigs and demos
for recreation. Knapp spent most of his time working in the metal underground
recording LP's for national labels such as Wild Rags! And Shrapnel. Kilpatrick
remained in the melodic hard rock realm, honing his own songwriting skills.
It was 1996 when Knapp contacted Kilpatrick with a more serious proposal: To
record some songs that paid homage to the more sophisticated mainstream metal of
the 80's such as Dokken, the Scorpions, Yngwie Malmsteen, and Rainbow. Knapp
wasted no time securing worldwide marketing and distribution deals with labels
such as Sinbad Productions and the CD was soon released. The result is four great
tracks that go against all current trends and provide a refreshing alternative to
"Alternative."
LIFELESS , Sometimes I wonder where these bands get my address from. I never
did quite understand the death metal thing, yet alone black metal. I do appreciate
the power of the solo project, and this is another interesting one by Marc.
Unfortunately I have no address but if you get one the disc is available for $17 US.
